Towards the end of the Semester, the BDA held end-semester Examinations for all the students of Fashion Design and Interior Design One Year and Two Years Courses. Students of the Creative Art course participated in Prayas, an exhibition cum sale on 29th and 30th July 2017, at Parasdham near Lansdowne Market. The students exhibited and sold their products with great enthusiasm.

Students of Fashion Design Two Years and One Year created Designs for Phoenix Creations, an apparel firm. The selected designs were awarded with Certificates and Silver Coins.

The BGESS ISC Department organised a Cricket Tournament between the faculty members of BDA and ISC. The Gents team comprising four teachers and two students played against the ISC male teachers team. The Ladies team comprising three teachers and three students played against the ISC Ladies team. The BDA ladies team won their match.

A Seminar cum Workshop was conducted by Mr. Sandeep Sarkar on 1st July 2017 for the Students of Fashion Design One Year and Two Years. The Seminar covered a wide range of topics which are extremely beneficial for the students before they venture out on their respective careers.
