29 students of the Interior design department (batch 2024-2026) sem 4 along with 1 faculty member visited Sugam Morya, 88A BL Saha Road, Tollygunge, Kolkata- 700053 on 27 March 2026. The students were taken to the above site to take measurements and do site surveys for their semester office project. Nineteen students of the Interior design department (batch 2025-2027) sem 2, along with one faculty member visited The Indian Museum, Kolkata, on 27th March’26. They were provided with a guide from the Museum Authorities to explore the various arts, artifacts and architectural exhibits. The students carried out a detailed measurement survey of the grand staircase at the entrance lobby.

A visit for Ito Hotel Vivanta for Interior Design students was conducted on 05-02-2026. Total number of students that participated in the visit was16 of Interior Design1 year sem 1 (2025-26). They were accompanied by one faculty member for the case study of the hotel lobby design as per their semester design project.

Convocation’26 ceremony was organised for the graduating students of Fashion and Interior design batches (2023-25) and (2024-25), who have successfully completed the respective courses, was held at The BDA campus on the 31st January 2026. The visit for Interior Design Students to JAQUAR WORLD (display center) was conducted on 21-1-2026 & 22-1-2026. Total number of students that participated in the visit was 44 of Interior Design 2 year sem 3 (2024-26) and Interior Design 1 year sem 1 (2025-26) batches respectively. They were accompanied by two faculty members. 

Two best students for the year 2025-26 Shivam Patel (2023-25) and Faiza Siddiqui (2024-25) were given the Best Students Award from The Bhawanipur Design Academy by ABID Interiors 2026. Ankita Adhikary of Interior Design 2 year sem 1 (fundamental), was one of the special mentions in the “Micro-Workspace” Design Competition at the ABID Interiors 2026. Memento and certificate was given.

The Annual Graduating Fashion Show took place on 25 December 2025.
