The Fashion Design students visited the Jaya Shree Textiles and Shree Ganesh on the 9th April ’26. 16 students of Fashion Design 2yr sem 4 (2024-26), went for an Industry Visit to Jaya Shree Textile at Rishra-Hooghly and Shree Ganesh at Cossipore, Kolkata. Students enriched knowledge on linen fiber, yarn to linen fabrics production with latest high tech machines. They learned the process of how raw Merino wool is used to make worsted yarn ready for knitting or weaving. At Shree Ganesh, students got to see digital screen printing, silk screen printing process and digital embroidery on kid’s wear.
