The Fevicryl Folk Art Painting workshop was conducted on the 3rd April’24 at The Bhawanipur Design Academy Campus by Fevicryl representatives.31 students and Faculty members from Interior Design & Fashion Design 2Yr (2023-25) sem II attended the workshop. Fork art painting was done on canvas using pastel Fevicryl acrylic paint.

The site visit for Interior Design Students to the under construction site was conducted on 02-04-2024. Total number of  students that participated in the visit was 28 of Interior Design 2 year sem 4 (2022-24) and Interior Design 1 year sem 2 (2023-24) batches respectively. They were accompanied by the subject faculty member.

Two students for the year 2023-24 Priyanka Mahapatra (2021-23) and Dhiren Patel (2022-23) received the Best Students Award from The Bhawanipur Design Academy, at the ABID Interior event.

The students got to interact and understand the various nuances of design from the famous fashion designer Jyotee Khaitan and a lot about personal styling from actor Devlina Kumar when both celebrities had visited The Bhawanipur Design Academy on the 28th of Feb’24. Both the celebrities impressed upon the students the importance of hard work and discipline

BDA students presented a short dance presentation on patriotic songs on the occasion of Republic Day at the BGES campus on 26th January 2024. Students were dressed in the tri-colour theme and used the flag and tri-colour dupattas as props. The performance was greatly appreciated by all.

The Convocation’23 ceremony for the students of Fashion and Interior design batches, who have successfully completed their respective courses, was held at The BDA campus on the 20th January 2024. The Diploma and Certificates were presented to the outgoing batches. Some of the students and parents also shared their experience at the BDA.
