The Bengali Joy Filmfare Awards 2025 turned out to be a golden opportunity for aspiring fashion designers, especially the students from Bhawanipur Design Academy (BDA). On 18th February 2025, Students of ID (2024-25) sem 1 along with a faculty visited ‘Old Building, Adi-Brahmo Samaj’ for better understanding of the building restoration and construction methodology.

The Bhawanipur Design Academy won the award for the Best Fashion Design Institute at the Gurukul Award 12th Edition, organised by the Lions Club of Kolkata, Mother Teresa Sarani, on 24 January 2025.
