16 students and 2 Faculty members from Fd 2Yr sem 3 (2023-25) and FD 1 yr sem 1(2024-25) visited to the exhibition held at the Emami Art Gallery, Eastern Metropolitian Bypass, Anandapur, Kolkata on the 5th February’ 25.
Students saw many Indian traditional textiles, like kantha, baluchari saree, jamdani saree, shawl and garments etc. They had also visited the hand printing kalamkari and brush work with natural dye by Mr. Ajit Das (National Awardee) artist on the 1st floor. Students learnt many techniques of textile printing process and artwork.
