Students of Interior Design (Fundamental) visited Bandel and Hoogly on 15 May 2017. They visited the famous Church and the Imambara, both rich in architectural features. The students were able to experience the architectural treasure troves and construction methods of the structures. The head of department Mr. Sumit Bose accompanied the students.

The first batch of Modelling and Styling course was completed after 12 classes. The students who completed the course presented a small show of two sequences for an in-house audience. The show, though short, was well presented and thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.

A series of Lectures on Marketing, Costing, Pricing and Project Preparation were conducted by Prof. Dilip Shah, Dean, The Bhawanipur were held on 22nd and 23rd March 2017 for Fashion and Interior, Second Year and One Year students.\ Two subsequent lectures are scheduled to be held on 28th and 29th March 2017.

A Seminar and Workshop on Portfolio Building and Presentation Skills was held on 21st March 2017, for students of Fashion Second Year and Fashion One Year. It was conducted by Mr. Sandeep Sarkar, a well known fashion designer and wildlife photographer.

The end of Semester Juries for all batches of Fashion and Interior Design were held between 1st to 16th February 2017. The students presented their work to panel of three Jury members, formed of important personalities from the Industry. The students were graded on various parameters.
