Bhawanipur Design Academy, in association with Hafele, organised a special training program for students of the BDA. It was the only such collaboration in Eastern India.
The Hafele training program is especially and exclusively designed for Interior Design colleges and institutes. It is divided into three stages which focuses on three different segments for the product development concept which are mentioned below:
Structure of the Training session
- Stage 1 – Classroom Session at The Bhawanipur Design Academy premises (Materials used in the industry , basics of wood working , kitchen planning and designing and overview of the Hafele Product Range).
- Stage 2 – Practical hands-on session at The Bhawanipur Design Academy premises (Students constructed the cabinet and install couple of kitchen products by themselves).
- Stage 3 – Hafele Design Centre Walk Through (Students were given an exposure of look and feel of the product live).
The training was conducted by Mr. Rashmith Shetty, Manager (Training – South and East), Mr. Avinash Kumar, Assistant Manager (Training – South and East ) and Mr. Uday Kumar, Senior Technician (Training – South and East ). The students were also given certificates at the end of the session. A Total of 20 students from ID 2Yr (2021-23) and 1Yr (2022-23) attended the sessions.
