Presented are some of the work done by students in the course of projects undertaken through online classes during the lockdown period. The BDA organised an excursion for students of all batches of Interior and Fashion Design. 39 students, accompanied by 4 faculty members, visited Bhubaneswar and Vishakhapatnam from 13th to 19th March 2020.In Bhubaneswar, the students saw and studied the architecture of the Konark Temple, Raja Rani Temple and Lingraj Temple. Students of Interior Design One Year and Two Years participated at the exhibition organised by ABID (Architects, Builders, Interior Designers) held at Science City from 18 to 21 January 2020. They designed two models under two categories – Residential and Commercial. There were several entries under these categories from various Interior Design institutes from Kolkata.

Fashion and Interior Design Fundamental students were taken for a visit to the Indian Museum on 15 January 2020. thirty-nine students accompanied by two faculty members visited the various sections of the Museum. The Convocation of The Bhawanipur Design Academy was held in 10th January 2020 for the Fashion & Interior Design students of the batch 2017-2019 and 2018-2019.
