Fashion Design(Batch 2020-22 & Batch 2021-22)
A group of 14 students from 20-22 and 21-22 batches along with three faculty members went for an Industry Visit to the Rajlakshmi Cotton Mills at Jalan Industrial Complex, Dhulagarh ,Howrah, on 24 December 2021.
The visit was organised to expose the students into the actual working of the industry. The students were explained in detail the various processes followed in garment construction using state of the art machinery, such as knitting, screen printing, embroidery etc. They also saw the methods involved in the final finishing and checking of the garments. They were also briefly acquainted with the merchandising of the product.
