Fashion Design students visited the Bengal Dyeing, Batik Palace, printing unit of Arunava Bose and Jayshree Textile on the 8th April ’24. 24 students of Fashion Design 2yr sem IV (2022-24), Fashion Design 1 yr sem II (2023-24) and two faculty members had gone for the industry visit. Through this visit students learnt hand printing, batik printing, block printing and screen printing process. They also gathered knowledge about screen preparation. At Jayshree Textiles, students learnt about textile fiber to yarn to fabric, all process and method including linen and wool fabric.
