The Orientation Programme for the new batch of students took place on 22 August 2023.
The programme began with Barnana Ma’am welcoming the students to the department, followed by a short introduction of the department by Dr .Somsankar Ray (Principal Coordinator) and Mr. Sumit Bose (HOD Interior Design). They also offered some words of encouragement to the students. Introduction of the faculty members was given by Arvinder Kaur. The department’s achievements were also narrated.
Students were given a unique project to design out of soft waste available at home. The students were given 1 & 1/2 days to complete the project.
