The orientation for the new batch of 2024-25 took place on 16th August ’24.
The programme began with Barnana ma’am welcoming the students to the department, followed by a short introduction of the department by Dr. Somsankar Ray (Principal Coordinator) and Mr. Sumit Bose (HOD Interior Design). They also gave some words of encouragement to the students. Introduction of the faculty members was given by Arvinder Kaur. The department’s achievements were also narrated.
Students were given a unique project to design out of soft waste available at home. They were given 2 days to complete the project.
